Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge
The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge promotes, develops and supports artists and art organizations in an eleven parish area. It provides arts education programs, grants, the Arts Market, FestforAll, Sunday in the Park, River City Jazz Masters, Community School for the Arts, and Community Gallery exhibitions.
In 2004, the Arts Council and the EBRP School System were accepted to the prestigious Kennedy Center Partners in Education program.

Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre
Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre is Baton Rouge’s Award Winning Ballet Company comprised of professional and pre-professional dancers. They offer a major season and present their unique “Nutcracker…A Tale from the Bayou” each year. BRBT also sponsors a far-reaching educational program serving an 8-parish region including touring libraries, elementary schools and community centers.
BRBT was the recipient of the 2007 Standford Financial Excellence in the Arts Award for a large organization and the 2004 Governor’s Arts Awards for Outstanding Large Arts Organization.

Baton Rouge Gallery
The Gallery is a venue for the visual arts, with fifty professional Artist Members, and also provides a stage for the literary arts, theatre, dance and music with collaborations with community artists and organizations.
Founded in 1966, Baton Rouge Gallery is one of the oldest non-profit artist co-operatives in the United States.

Baton Rouge Little Theater
Baton Rouge Little Theater is committed to providing quality live theatrical entertainment and education to the Greater Baton Rouge area. BRLT celebrated its 60th Anniversary Season in 2005-2006, and is one of the 25 largest community theatres in the nation.
The Baton Rouge Little Theater is South Louisiana’s oldest volunteer-based theatre.

Baton Rouge Symphony
The Baton Rouge Symphony presents the Entergy Masterworks series, Louisiana Lottery Tunes Around Town, Young People’s Discovery Concerts, Bank One Pops series, and Lamar Family Chamber Concerts. They house the Louisiana Youth Orchestra Program and the Baton Rouge Symphony Chorus.

Tourgee DeBose National Piano Competition Foundation
The Tourgee DeBose National Piano Competition, established in 1974 at Southern University, has developed into an annual Competition-Festival. It provides scholarships and awards for participants, and a competitive milieu for student musicians who are dedicated to excellence and achievement.
Tourgee DeBose presents performances by nationally and internationally acclaimed concert pianists.

Foundation for Historical Louisiana
The Foundation’s mission is to preserve the cultural and architectural heritage of our state, focusing on the capital region. From rescuing Magnolia Mound to operating the Old Governor’s Mansion, the Foundation is dedicated to safeguarding our unique heritage.
The Foundation provides stewardship for historic Magnolia and Highland Cemeteries and the Pentagon Barracks Museum.

Friends of Magnolia Mound
The Friends of Magnolia Mound assist in the preservation and interpretation of the historic house and site as a demonstration of early plantation life in south Louisiana, and procure and manage the collection. The plantation is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and welcomes visitors from all over the world.
Magnolia Mound is the oldest wooden structure in Baton Rouge, circa 1791, and has one of three of the accredited working museum kitchens in Louisiana.

Louisiana Art and Science Museum (LASM)
LASM features fine art exhibitions and a permanent collection that contains America’s second-largest collection of works by master sculptor Ivan Meštrovic. It also boasts Greek, Roman and Egyptian artifacts and several interactive exhibits. Discovery Depot is a creative playroom and Science Station provides hands on learning for children. Its newest attraction is the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium.
LASM is included in the five percent of museums in the United States to be accredited by the American Association of Museums.

Louisiana Sinfonietta
The Louisiana Sinfonietta has regular season concerts. Its extensive outreach program includes presenting free concerts at libraries, elementary schools and local retirement communities.
The Sinfonietta commissions new works annually, and regularly features outstanding local soloists.

Of Moving Colors
Of Moving Colors Productions (OMC) offers contemporary dance-theatre incorporating different artistic mediums such as dance, theatre, poetry, live music and the visual arts. Providing part-time jobs for artists, training by world-class guests and community outreach are three ways that OMC continues to raise the bar for the arts in Louisiana.
Of Moving Colors is a dance-theatre in alliance with choreographers and dance companies in New York, Philadelphia, Vienna and Berlin.

Playmakers
Playmakers of Baton Rouge, Inc., Louisiana’s professional theatre for young audiences, was founded in 1982. Playmakers’ mission is to provide entertaining education experiences for young audiences through quality live theatre.
In 2007, Playmakers received the 2007 Standford Financial Excellence in the Arts Award for small organizations. In 1998, Playmakers received the Southwest Theatre Association’s Award for Outstanding Professional Theatre and the Governor’s Arts Award for Outstanding Arts Organization in the State of Louisiana.

Swine Palace
Swine Palace presents theatre of the highest quality to the people of Louisiana.
